I. Supervision of processes

You can have supervised all critical processes on your AS/400:

• You define the limit qualities of the faultlessness for a job: Within which specifications a job is regarded as fault-free; when is it a fault.
• You also can have jobs supervised, which run only one time per day (like e.g. data saving).
• In principle SafeJobs monitores itself by the help of permanently overlaying supervision authorities. Should an authority run faultily, an other authority would arouse an alarm about this.

II. Notification of support

In the fault case the communication system which is integrated in SafeJobs makes the immediate notification of users, administrators and service providers possible:

• All messages are adjustable in kind and content.
• Without restrictions you can configure some and how many users have to be informed in the fault case.
• You can figure out hotline plans for changing readinesses (e.g. at weekend).
  SafeJobs isn't licensed after the number of alarm receivers. So you save yourself readiness mobile telephones, which have to be swapped under the employees.

• The message distribution to the users can be defined hierarchically and differently for every supervision job:
  In principle, SafeJobs expects a corresponding re-registration from any informed user. In the case of the non-appearance SafeJobs enlarges the notification ways gradually by subordinate users being informed about the fault.
• In principle, SafeJobs sends a wake-up call next to a SMS to the informed user. This function is particularly helpful to night shifts.
• For information purposes status reports can be produced daily and distributed by e-mail. (Sometimes only the report is calming that the system is in the fault-free condition.)
  
  

III. Notification paths

The realization of the notification for SafeJobs can be carried out in three different ways:

• Report with the help of a specially adapted GSM module.
  An adapted GSM module sends the reports out by SMS and allert or e-mail.
  
• Servers based a central report about your Windows NT.
  This one for this needed Gateway soft- and hardware can be delivered and installed by us. The report is carried out via SMS, allert and e-mail. Furthermore you get a detailed system status by e-mail every morning on request.
  
• Report about our systems in the context of a maintenance agreement.
  The reports are carried out by SMS, allert and e-mail. A morning system status is caused as well. The Gateway soft- and hardware is provided by us centrally. The individual systems send your reports by FTP.

Additional in all cases break-messages can be sent to all displays of defined and applied users.
